📢 Important Update: Upctox Terms of Service in Uganda & Ghana
Dear Upctox Members,
We have updated our Terms of Service in Uganda and Ghana following recent directives from both governments. These updates focus on enhancing transparency in the following areas:
Account Whitelisting for Basic Accounts
Account Status Visibility
Government Access to Customer Data for Money Laundering Prevention
PRN (Payment Reference Number) Status Tracking
Customer Access to Their Own Data
To meet these requirements, we have introduced two key systems:
1. PRN SYSTEM
Customers can now input their Payment Reference Number (PRN) to track its status (used or still valid).
All valid PRNs are generated by our support bot—no customer support agent can override this system.
Any PRN marked as used means a successful withdrawal has been processed.
This system increases transparency by giving customers 90% access to their PRN usage.
2. UPCTOX ACCOUNT SYSTEM
This system securely stores customer data, which is accessible only by the account owner, Upctox, and government authorities for legal compliance.
To maintain transparency, some account details are publicly visible (e.g., account status & approval status), but personal data (e.g., real name, ID number, contact details, and email) remain private.
Each account has a unique passcode required to access full details. Keep your passcode secure! If compromised, your data could be exposed. You can change your passcode by contacting customer support.
Customers can now track their account status (Whitelisted, Not Whitelisted, Suspended, Closed, or Under Review).
🔹 Verification Badge (Blue Checkmark) 🔹
We have introduced a blue checkmark verification badge to indicate authentic and compliant accounts.
Eligibility for the Verification Badge:
1. KYC Verified: Your identity documents must be submitted and approved.
2. Transaction Requirement: You must have deposited at least 1,500,000 UGX in your Upctox account.
3. Policy Compliance: No violations of Upctox terms and policies.
4. Account Activity: Your account must have been active in the last 30 days.
Benefits of Being Verified:
✔ Priority customer support
✔ 5% discount on payments (cards, maintenance fees, income tax, etc.) – upon request
✔ Recognition as a VIP member
âš Upctox reserves the right to revoke the verification badge if fraudulent activity or policy violations are detected.
📌 Action Required: Data Correction Process (14 Days Only!)
Upctox is currently verifying and correcting customer data. We urge all members to check their details and report any errors.

âž¡ Input your username to verify if your data is uploaded and correct.
➡ If any details need correction, contact customer support—corrections are free for the next 14 days.
âš Important:
After 14 days, data corrections will require a fee.
If your data is missing, you will not be able to transact until compliance is met.
This applies to members who joined before February 20, 2025. New members (from February 21, 2025) will have their data uploaded automatically after KYC verification.
